IBEX 2021 Health & Safety Protocols
Show Management Requests a Shared Responsibility Initiative
IBEX looks forward to bringing the marine industry back together September 28 – 30 at the Tampa Convention Center to meet and connect while getting back to business. Please know that we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation in Florida and will do everything possible to ensure the health and safety of all attendees.
“The safety and security of IBEX visitors and exhibitors is our top priority, and the IBEX team is committed to creating an event experience where our customers, partners, and employees can safely and effectively conduct business,” said Anne Dunbar, IBEX Show Director. “We believe that by establishing new COVID-19 protocols, IBEX 2021 can take place live and in-person.”
For those already registered and for those considering joining us, we wanted to share with you our current plans and protocols for the event for your review:
SHARED RESPONSIBILITY INITIATIVE
IBEX show management is asking that everyone in attendance mutually agree to a duty of care to try to protect each other from any illnesses. To accomplish this and have a safe show for all we request that everyone in attendance at IBEX 2021 share the responsibility for keeping everyone safe by wearing a mask whether you have been vaccinated or not. Masks will be provided at IBEX registration for your safety and convenience.
- Touchless badge pick-up with prior registration and Express Pass will be available to limit contact during the registration process. Your Express Pass will be emailed to you a week before IBEX, please print this and bring it with you.
- We will have traffic flow management and other social distancing procedures in place for the exhibit halls and seminar rooms.
- Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the convention center as well as added health and safety signage with safety protocols and requirements.
- The Tampa Convention Center will be frequently sanitizing and disinfecting restrooms, seminar rooms, and all high-touch surfaces. Overnight electrostatic cleaning will occur in the exhibit halls.
Like so much else these days, this is a fluid situation. Our stakeholders and management team are constantly reviewing the IBEX 2021 health and safety guidelines in accordance with public health recommendations. We will make adjustments and amend our protocols as necessary to ensure a safe experience for all. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to ibexshow.com/covid-faqs
