Patrick Hemp
Patrick Hemp is the technical consultant for the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) and IMEC since 2013. Previous positions include being the design coordinator for the multihull company, GUNBOAT and is a yacht design graduate from The Landing School in Maine, USA having spent many years as professional crew upon privately owned classic sailing yachts. He currently lives in Cape Town South Africa where he tries to keep up with his sons in all watersport-related activities.
Jeff Wasil
With twenty years’ experience in emissions compliance, Jeff Wasil leads global marine regulatory development and is a key member of marine industry technical projects. Jeff serves as the Chairman of the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) Marine Engine Committee, Vice Chairman of the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) Board of Directors, and is a member of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Engine Manufacturers Division Board.
Sean Marrero
Callie Hoyt
Callie represents the marine industry at the federal level on the most salient issues facing the recreation economy including infrastructure, recreation access, climate sustainability, business environment, and fuel policy. She has more than 10 years of experience in conceptualizing and developing impactful policies and delivering issue-based advocacy campaigns. Previously, Callie managed policy and government affairs for the Motorcycle Industry Council. She came to the recreation space from the transportation sector, previously working at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America advocating for advanced adaptation of smart surface transportation solutions in federal transportation policy. She also worked at the Trucking Alliance, a Washington, D.C. based coalition of freight transportation and logistics companies.
