Fast Cure, No-VOC, Heavy-Duty Protective Marine Coating

Are you tired of waiting for interior gelcoat or paint to dry? Introducing the new Laminex “Lexzar” fast cure (less than 10 minutes) polyurea coating. This 100%-solid, zero-VOC product will assist in reducing emissions for coatings. It can be applied from 15mm to 1/2”-thick. This high-strength coating is sprayed with a plural component spray system and is provided for volume-users. Great for coating fiberglass, wood, bare steel, and aluminum. Lexzar has a high tear modulus, is waterproof, and is used as a sound-deadener or non-skid coating.

Epoxy Tooling Paste Application for Rapid Prototyping

SP, The Marine Business of Gurit, will present a live demonstration of its latest generation epoxy tooling paste: T Paste 70-1 using a Graco DC-12 tooling paste dispensing system. Epoxy tooling paste allows for quick build-up without emissions, very low shrink, and accurate dimension. Epoxy tooling paste can save time and money in plug making, as well as one-off molds.

Vectorply will present a video of a recent one-shot infusion of an all carbon fiber/epoxy Magnum 70-foot. deck laminate. All structural materials used were designed for optimum resin flow and wet-out, which culminated in a total infusion time of less than two hours.
