Exhibitor Warnings: PLEASE READ!

Do NOT be fooled by phone calls, or emails from anyone claiming to be affiliated with IBEX. Before you give a company credit card, check the list of official vendors below, or check with us!

  1. Many IBEX exhibitors recently received a fraudulent mailing from a group called Expo Guide. The mailing instructs you to fill out a form for the “IBEX guide” and fax it to an international number. (This should have been your first clue that this was not an IBEX communication! ) Be aware of any offer from IBEX, and be sure to check with us if you receive a suspicious offer.
  2. Beware of phone calls from a company that goes by the name “Complete Event Planning” offering discount hotel rooms during IBEX. They are not an authorized IBEX hotel booking company, and are of unknown origin, and legitimacy.

The Only IBEX 2008 Hotel Reservation Service is Ambassador’s

The ONLY official IBEX hotel reservation service is Ambassador’s. Do NOT be fooled by other hotel services claiming to be affiliated with IBEX. By using Ambassador’s, you help support IBEX and ensure consistent and appropriate future dates at the Miami Beach Convention Center. IBEX is positively, and negatively affected based on how many rooms are booked through the official hotel service. We have worked hard to ensure a broad range of hotels and inexpensive rates are offered in hopes of meeting all of your needs.

Please know that WE DO NOT SELL, OR GIVE AWAY THE IBEX EXHIBITOR LIST, EVER! It is distributed to only our official vendors so that they may contact you to offer their show services.

The IBEX web site, and Official IBEX Show Directory are both quality resources used daily by thousands of boat building industry professionals. Unfortunately, they also allow your company information to be available to anyone in the world who seeks to profit from IBEX. In this day and age, you have to accept the good with the bad. To prevent further email mining of IBEX 2008 exhibitor information from the IBEX web site, we have temporarily taken off all exhibitor emails until we get closer to the show. We did not take off the phone number, or fax because we felt that would not be fair to any legitimate customer trying to reach your company.
