NMEA Connect-Fest
Connect-Fest is an opportunity to see Open Source navigation and control networking in action. A single NMEA 2000® backbone, built using cable and connectors from multiple manufacturers will be set-up and connected to a wide variety of marine products. Connected products will include:
- Engine Controls
- Displays and Gauges
- Navigation Equipment
- Power Distribution
- Diagnostic Tools
- and More...
Attendees will see for themselves how information is exchanged between products from different manufacturers. Experts will be on-hand to demonstrate equipment function so that attendees can switch displays between multiple sources of information, query the backbone for information about connected products, and plug and unplug products to see how installation and integration can be simplified.
